Only eight years old, the chalet has been built to the latest insulation standards with double glazing and is extremely warm in winter.  Quarry tile floors with underfloor heating on ground floor and individually controlled electric wall heaters throughout.  The quarry tile flooring means that the chalet remains relatively cool in the heat of the summer.

Kitchen

fully equipped - oven with full width grill, halogen hob with four rings, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, microwave oven and 1 ½ sink.  Full range of electrical equipment from coffee maker and kettle to food processor and sandwich maker.  Extensive cutlery, lots of pots, pans and serving dishes.  There is a separate under stairs larder which keeps cool throughout the summer.

 

Dining Area

adjacent to the kitchen and lounge in completely open plan area.  Table with six chairs.  Two large sliding doors onto an external decking area and the garden make this a lovely light and airy place to eat summer and winter.

 

Lounge

with a wood burning stove this offers a comfortable seating area for six and more.  The sofas are UK standard deep and comfortable (rather than the normal smaller and harder French equivalent).  The largest sofa seats three and the second opens up into a double sofa bed if needed.  A good quality CD player/radio and for watching videos there is a video player with TV screen.

 

Bedroom 1

with its own ensuite bathroom (bath and shower) this is the master bedroom.  A door opens out onto its own private balcony.  Carpeted for comfort over the underfloor heating.

Chalet Belle Dranse is our own home and used solely by our family.  Books, videos, CDs,  pictures, crockery and cutlery are there in abundance.  Large fully equipped kitchen is capable of servicing a family of 6 happily.  Two bathrooms with shower over bath, basin and toilet make sharing easy.  Three double bedrooms and a large dining lounge leading to outside terrace..
