Everyone seems to use mobiles on the slopes! If you have European roaming on your mobile then you will find good reception in most of the valley although there are inevitably “dead spots”.
We have provided a short list of local contact numbers on the pin-board in the Chalet such as doctors, hospitals, police and garages.
All these numbers are given on the town’s own website www.stjeandaulps.com and it is worth you looking at this before you travel.
Be careful with your UK mobile as phone bills run up very fast and even calls to you can incur a charge to you.

There is no telephone connected but everyone we know in the area seems to use mobiles. There are public telephones in the centre of St Jean d’Aulps.
St Jean’s own website has lots of useful numbers and there is an established nanny service in Morzine. |
