Chamonix valley skiing means the whole valley with individual areas such as Argentiere, Grand Montets, Brevent, Flegere and Les Houches all linked together by free ski bus.
There’s more than enough to ski a different area each day of a week long holiday. Each has its different attributes from north or south facing, steeper or gentler, for advanced or intermediate skiers.
Energetic and excellent skiers come back year after year without getting bored. For some it’s just “the place to be”.
With a ski bus stop a minute or two from the apartment it is a real advantage to be centrally placed.

World famous for skiing means that the skiing has got to be excellent and varied. There is tremendous off-piste, the day-long and unforgettable Vallée Blanche as well as fine intermediate slopes with fantastic views and ski schools for beginners.
There’s plenty of opportunity for cross country skiing too.

Although the Chamonix valley is awe inspiring because of its steep sides there is sufficient width to the valley floor for good cross country skiing.
There are routes past lakes and through golf courses with views of the mountains at every point.
Again these are on the ski bus route which means that a relaxing day can be had in the fresh air. without an exhausting trudge back home.
